- とくがわいえなり【徳川家斉】(1773-1841) 江戸幕府第一一代将軍（1787-1837）。 一橋治斉の長男。 家治の養子。 幼名豊千代。 田沼意次を排して， 松平定信を老中主座とし， 学問を奨励， 寛政の改革を行わせた。 定信失脚後家斉親政になると， 幕政はゆるみ， 爛熟した化政文化が現出。 隠居後も大御所と称して実権を握った。 側室四〇人， 子女五五人を数えた。
